Highlights

Riding the Giro routes after the race

We will ride the very same routes that the professional riders have just completed, creating a strong sense of authenticity and connection to the event.

Three consecutive stages

The format remains stage-based – riding day after day, but at a more relaxed pace and with better control over the effort.

Open roads and a relaxed atmosphere

After the race has finished, the routes are fully open, allowing for safe, relaxed, and enjoyable riding without pressure.

Expedition-style tour

Each evening we stay in a different location – passing through diverse regions and landscapes, creating a true sense of journey.

Support vehicle and full logistics

A vehicle follows the group throughout the entire route, providing luggage transport, support, safety, and the option for transfers if needed.

Support stations

Organized stops along the route for rest, hydration, and recovery, offering water, fruit, and energy products.

Premium accommodation

Comfortable stays in four-star hotels, ensuring full recovery after each stage.

Small groups and a personal approach

Up to 7 participants – for a better experience, enhanced safety, and a more personalized approach.

Memories captured in motion

Video recording with an action camera and drone (when conditions allow and with prior consent).

Official certificate for completing the three stages

Each participant who successfully completes the route receives a personalized certificate as recognition of their achievement.

About the Tour

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Giro – but without the pressure of racing.
In the Footsteps of the Giro” is designed for those who want to experience the route in an authentic way, but in a more relaxed and controlled environment.

We will ride the same roads, pass through the same sections, and feel the same terrain that the professionals covered just days before.

The difference is in the pace.

Here, you have time to enjoy the scenery, to truly feel the route, and to experience the distance without unnecessary pressure.

It is a challenge – but also a pleasure.

Itinerary

1

Day 1. Transfer Sofia – Plovdiv – Stara Zagora – Nessebar.

Departure from the parking area of the National History Museum in Sofia at 14:00.
Along the way, participants can join from Plovdiv and Stara Zagora.

Day 2. Ride along the Giro d’Italia Bulgaria Stage 1 route: Nessebar – Burgas – Chernomorets – Sozopol – Burgas. Route distance: 156 km, elevation gain: 890 m.

The first day is relatively flat and faster-paced. The route follows coastal roads with a smooth profile and excellent riding conditions.

On perfect asphalt, we will pass by Burgas Lake and reach Sozopol, where we will take a long lunch break. From there, we ride back along the coast towards Burgas.

Accommodation follows in a comfortable four-star hotel, with time for well-deserved rest and dinner.

Day 3. Ride along the Giro d’Italia Bulgaria Stage 2 route: Burgas – Karnobat – Sliven – Zhelezni Vrata Pass – Elena – Veliko Tarnovo. Route distance: 219 km, elevation gain: 2500 m.

The queen stage of the tour – a rolling terrain with several long climbs. We will cross the Balkan Mountains and move into the northern part of the country.

The final stage is quite familiar to most cyclists. We start with a flat and fast section, followed by a gradual and steady climb towards Borovets resort. Three days, three stages from a world-famous cycling event, 550 km with 5,000 meters of elevation gain, and plenty of эмоtions.
