About the Tour
Sithonia is the second peninsula of Halkidiki and is known for its wild beaches, green hills, and peaceful coastal roads.
Here, the mountains descend directly to the sea, and the road follows the curves of the coastline, revealing stunning views of the Aegean Sea.
This expedition-style road cycling tour is designed for those who want to experience Sithonia in an active and authentic way—away from the tourist crowds and in the rhythm of their own movement.
We will ride along beautiful coastal roads, pass through small Greek villages, stop for coffee by the sea, and enjoy the sense of freedom that cycling brings.
This is not just a ride—it’s a journey around one of the most beautiful peninsulas of the Aegean Sea.
Itinerary
Arrival in Sarti, Greece. Cycling route: Sarti – Kalamitsi – Toroni. Route distance: 28 km, elevation gain: 480 m.
Arrival in the resort village of Sarti, located on the eastern coast of Sithonia.
At 15:00, after a short briefing and preparation, the first stage of our journey begins.
The route follows the beautiful southern coastline of the peninsula, passing through the coastal areas around Kalamitsi, where stunning views of the Aegean Sea unfold.
The day ends in Toroni—a peaceful seaside town with a long sandy beach.
Check-in at the hotel and free time for a walk.
Dinner at a traditional Greek taverna.
Toroni – Neos Marmaras – Vourvourou. Route distance: 52 km, elevation gain: 650 m.
This is the longest and most scenic stage of the tour.
The route follows the western coastline of Sithonia and reaches one of the liveliest resort towns on the peninsula—Neos Marmaras.
Here, we will stop for coffee and a short walk around the harbor.
We then continue riding towards the resort town of Nikiti, where we will have lunch.
In the afternoon, the route heads north to Vourvourou—an area known for its lagoons, small islands, and exceptionally clear waters.
Check-in at the hotel, followed by free time and dinner at a nice local spot.
Vourvourou – Sarti. Route distance: 28 km, elevation gain: 600 m.
The final day of our tour takes us through the forested interior of the peninsula.
The route offers beautiful panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and quiet, peaceful roads.
After a pleasant descent, we return to Sarti, where our cycling tour of Sithonia comes to an end.

Bicycle Information
Each of you can participate with your own bicycle, whether it is a conventional or an electric one.
If you don’t have a bike, you can rent a high-end, comfortable full-suspension e-bike, including a helmet.

Riding between three and five hours per day on good-quality asphalt roads. Some previous experience with longer distances (around 60 km) is beneficial. We recommend a reasonably good level of fitness.
